From pencils to pixels
Drawing is my earliest skill that got noticed, starting with winning a national drawing competition with the theme "Draw the new South Africa" at age 6.
Professionally, this core creative skill comes in handy when in need of concept sketches and storyboards, but also forms the base of digital illustration and photo manipulation techniques.
When generic won't do
I am honoured to be asked to make custom illustrations for birth announcements, visualising the always unique and sometimes quirky ideas of the parents.
Nuon "zoekplaatjes"
I made detailed illustrated images with hidden clues to be discovered by this utility company's viewers on social media.
Holland Heineken Hemd
I designed this Hawaii inspired shirt which represents different sports occasions and typical Dutch symbols. The shirt was complimentary with a pack of Heineken beer cans and worn en masse by Dutch supporters during Kingsday and sport events like F1.
TrailTap game
I made all ingame illustrated elements and keyvisual art for this mobile tap game, promoting Shimano's new mountainbike range.
